As a Detroit boy born and raised, and a loyal Lions fan, I am more than a little skeptical about Stafford. I live in the South and got to watch a lot of his games. He looked good in every game that didn't matter, and seemed to choke in the big games. The Lions need a winner at QB, not another pretty boy. I hope I am dead wrong about this, but until I am, I will be growing about the fact that he is making more money than Tom Brady.

This has bust written all over it. You are dead right. Stafford is a good quarterback, but not a great one. Another main problem is that he has no help! Who is gonna take the pressure off of him on the line, in the running game, receivers? His contract is an embarrassment to the league and Tom Brady. Obviously I don't blame him but let's just call him Ryan Leaf Part II.
