Josh Hamilton experienced the relapse

Outfielder Josh Hamilton Texas Rangers, fighting an addiction to drugs and alcohol, has suffered a relapse this week.OVER-EAR

Hamilton was spotted in a bar in Dallas, Monday, trying to consume alcohol.

This is what reports the Dallas Morning News, citing unnamed sources who attended the scene.

In a statement, the Rangers said "be aware of the situation, but they will issue no further comment at this time. "IN-EAR

Hamilton, aged 31, was suspended for over three years for drug and alcohol while he was in the organization of the Tampa Bay Rays. He missed the 2004 and 2005 seasons. He was selected the MVP of the Major Baseball in 2010.

It was the second relapse of Hamilton in the space of three years. In January 2009 he had been drinking a lot of alcohol in a bar in Tempe, Arizona.
