Timing Fantasy MLB Updates

A good fantasy roster that can rack up points in every game has to be consistently updated. You need to have the right players for the game in order to reach the maximum number possible. Many fantasy players are changing their MLB fantasy team everyday as they see players go through certain improvements in every game.

But that doesn't mean you really have to be online most of the day just to have an upper hand in Fantasy MLB. Here's a trick that can ease your burden in fantasy updates: a biweekly change that should be implemented every Sunday and Wednesday. If you do it right, you can gain maximum score in every statistic.

Why Wednesday and Sunday?

Obviously, these are the two days of the week before Thursday and Monday - the days where a limited number of MLB teams will travel and play. On these days, expect at least 10 major league games or 20 teams to be on the field trying to win their respective game.
The days before the actual games, fantasy players will be aggressively updating their roster. They will naturally waive some players that will not be playing on those dates. Player waiving is done in order to accommodate the players that will be playing on Monday and Thursday.

Who Do You Get?

This technique are for those fantasy players whose majority of their roster is not playing in any of these games. It's a long term technique which will allow you to gain advantage on specific dates.
On Wednesday and Thursday, there will be good players that will be waived. Fantasy players force themselves to give up some of their players in order to score. The logic is simple: it doesn't matter if you have the best baseball player in the world if the player can't play on that day. This presents an opportunity for you if you don't have a lot of games on that day. You can sacrifice a little just to get a good player in the future. You lose a little bit now but you'll gain a lot in the next days.

Is This a Consistent Practice?

This practice will never become consistent simply because your team might be playing on Monday and Thursday. In fact, you might even find yourself on the other end of the bargain since you might be forced to give up one of your key players on that day because he is not playing. It's a necessary sacrifice especially if you need more points to increase your ranking in your league. Remember that it's a risk since there is a chance that your player will not be available as he has been drafted by another fantasy player.

The "Sunday and Monday" technique in fantasy MLB is a simple but very smart way in improving your score. You just have to be aware that sacrificing your key player could also happen especially if you need additional points in the league. Be smart in acquiring and releasing these players to always gain maximum points.
