Fantasy MLB is all about looking out for your players. You have to take note of their performance and make some immediate changes if you see something odd or notice a dive in their performance. Ignore your team for a week, or you’ll end up losing in points. You need to be aggressive in selling the players that might not work well in the future and buy players that are showing potential for success.

In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the AL pitchers you should consider buying or sell if you have them in your roster. These recommendations are based on their recent performance which is a great indicator of their future performance.
Edwin Jackson (Tigers) – Jackson is a very impressive pitcher that could easily post numbers to your team. But the week has been very difficult and the pitcher didn’t fare well in numbers. You still could sell the player high before his numbers go down.
Justin Verlander (Tigers) – another great pitcher for Detroit and should easily attract buyers. Honestly, parting with the player is very challenging but if you’re looking for some extra points, Verlander is your pitcher. He’s the right guy that could fork some serious points for your fantasy team.
Jason Vargas (Mariners) – if you still have Vargas in your team, then your strategy must be to stick with your preferred players and not on points. Vargas has been impressive in the early games of the season but his numbers started going down last week but still looks great that he could be a great seller.
Josh Outman (Athletics) – another great player that might be struggling a little bit for the past few weeks. The team has been winning but his numbers does not seem to show any improvement. You can still sell high on Outman because of the recent wins of Athletics.
John Lackey (Angels) – don’t be deceived by the team’s win-loss record. John Lackey is actually racking up numbers to help any slumping fantasy team. Hunt him down for a trade or buy low if you see the player available.
Joakim Soria (Royals) – having this player is actually a little bit risky. His numbers are no different from other mediocre starters this season. But the potential the player can be definitely noticed in many of his games. He can be bought low because of the lack of actual performance.
Scott Kazmir (Rays) – another classic example that the win-loss record does not tell the performance of each player. Kazmir is actually impressive in his last few games even though some of them didn’t really result to a win. Watch out for trades or sell so that you can buy low and gain more.
Francisco Liriano (Twins) – it’s sad to see the Twins struggle this season but this losing way only means you could buy this leftie at a bargain. His numbers are a little bit weak but more than enough to help you improve your fantasy team.
